There is something about flying that has always given me the hibbie jibbies. A sort of anxiety. Something about being in an airplane, 30,000 feet above ground in a metal log that in my mind defies all sense of gravity is just strange.
But as a restless traveler, plane trips have become a way of life and an almost necessary evil in order to satisfy the insatiable inside of me.
Even with that anxiety, every so often on those long haul flights, I will lift that little screen next to me and have a peek outside to see what is going on. And it’s at those times that I get a glimpse of the world from the most unexpected vantage point. At that moment I realize how small and insignificant I am in this great big world. At that moment I marvel at the beauty and grandeur of the world around us and realize how truly lucky I am to have the privilege to be up in the sky. To see the world in a way that that not many people get a chance to see. It is at those times that I realize that life is great and I am exactly where I am meant to be.
Happy Travels,
